Project will encourage students to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines and rules

The Digital Student Life team has won funding from the Lincolnshire Community Foundation to promote public health information about COVID-19 to students using student-created content. The Preventative Emergency Response (PER) project will be run in partnership with New Media Lincs, a social enterprise linked to the Lincoln School of Film and Media (LSFM).

The project team of students will be led by a recent Lincoln graduate and will work closely with the Digital Student Life team, as well as getting creative input and direction from LSFM academics. They will develop content for social media and other digital channels conveying information and guidance related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Research will also be carried out into student attitudes to COVID-19 and the rules and guidelines that they are expected to follow. Findings and insights from this will feed into the project, influencing the nature and themes of the content being produced.
